Supply List

Supply Lists 2022-23

These lists are suggested only. If you need support for a backpack and/or supplies for your student, please contact the office at 206-252-5550.

Kindergarten

Teacher: Chrissy Jackson, Rm. 1

Teacher: Yumee Chi-Park, Rm. 5

Please label the following with your child’s name:

  • Water-proof backpack  (large enough to hold a folder)
  • Water bottle (optional)

Please do not label the items below; they’ll be collected and shared among the classroom.  Please prepare your child for this so s/he is not disappointed:

  • 1 box (24 count) Crayola (if possible) brand crayons
  • 1 thin, low odor dry erase marker -black only
  • 1 ultra-fine point black Sharpie
  • 2 black Paper Mate Flair Pens
  • 1 box of Ziploc snack-sized bags or gallon bags 
  • A nut-free snack we can use the first week 

Kindergarten wish list if you want to contribute

  • gel pens, stickers,
  • .47 oz size can of Aaron’s Thinking Putty,
  • colorful Flair pens,
  • Inkjoy Gel Pens,
  • blank paper for drawing, 
  • Orbit chewing gum to use as a focus tool (unwrapped, Bubblemint, bag with 180 pieces) 

First Grade

Teacher: Emilie Neal and Faosiyah Madras

  • A backpack labeled with student’s name
  • A sturdy water bottle with tight-fitting top labeled with student’s name
  • 1 box of 12- 24 colored pencils (no more than 24, please)
  • 1 box of 8- 24 crayons
  • 1 box of 8- 10 Crayola washable markers
  • thin black EXPO white board markers
  • 2 wide-ruled composition notebooks (without spiral)

*Folders and child-sized #2 pencils will be provided by the school

Please choose 2-3 of the following items for our cache of shared classroom supplies.

  • 1 box of tissues
  • 1 box of band-aids (without designs)
  • 1 large bottle of hand sanitizer  
  • 1 package of baby wipes or hand-safe disinfecting wipes
  • 1 bag of Orbit sugar-free gum, also called “focus gum” in kindergarten
  • Individually wrapped snacks
  • First Grade Wish List if Anyone Wants to Contribute: watercolor paint sets, .47 oz size cans of Aaron’s Thinking Putty, deck of playing cards (for math games), sidewalk chalk

Second Grade

Teacher: Kit Norman

  • Student-sized backpack – please label
  • Water bottle with tight-fitting top – please label

Please do not label the items below; they’ll be collected and shared among the classroom

  • Scissors
  • One box Crayola crayons (24)
  • 2 Paper Mate Flair pens (one black, one choice)
  • Orbit white bubble mint gum (car cup size or a refill bag)
  • 2 boxes of Kleenex
  • Two packs of pencils – Dixon Ticonderoga pre-sharpened pencils if possible
  • Two solid-color pocket folders
  • Two wide-ruled composition notebooks
  • Two boxes of non-perishables for snack

Third Grade

Teacher: Katy Maynard

The following items should be labeled with student’s name:

  • Sturdy backpack – large enough to hold binder, small enough to fit in a locker
  • 1 three-ring binder, 1”; no zippers or flaps
  • 1 pencil pouch that fits in binder
  • Leak-proof water bottle with a tight-fitting lid
  • 3 wide ruled composition books (100 sheets)
  • 1 pair scissors
  • 1 set thin colored markers
  • 1 box of crayons
  • 1 set sharpened colored pencils
  • 1 large eraser

The following items will be shared communally; please don’t put names on these items:

  • 2 black, fine point Dry Erase markers
  • 2 ultra-fine black Sharpie markers
  • 2 fine black Sharpie markers
  • 2 boxes Ticonderoga #2 pencils, sharpened
  • 1 package of pencil top erasers
  • 2 yellow highlighters
  • 1 package of glue sticks

Items we will need donated and restocked throughout the year:

  • Ticonderoga #2 pencils, sharpened
  • Wide ruled notebook paper
  • Kleenex, baby wipes, bandages
  • Sugarless gum

Fourth Grade

Teacher: Jahira Teague

You do not need to write your students name on the supplies (except water bottle)

  • 1 student backpack – large enough to fit the binder & student laptop, small enough to fit in the locker
  • 2 ultra-fine black Sharpie markers
  • 1 box regular sized Crayola crayons
  • 2 Paper Mate Flair pens
  • 2 large erasers; Pink Pearl style
  • 1 box Crayola markers 
  • 1 water bottle (nonmetal, as our floor are not carpeted)
  • 1 box Crayola colored pencils
  • Two packs of pencils – Dixon Ticonderoga 
  • One blue 1-inch binder with plastic front sleeve and interior pocket.
  • 2 one subject wide-ruled composition notebooks (1 black, 1 choice color) 
  • Two packs of thin black dry erase markers for their white boards 
  • Aaron’s Thinking Putty 3.2 oz

The following items will be shared communally; please pick 1:

  • Orbit white bubble mint gum in a car cup size or a refill bag with 180 pieces – Daily focus tool
  • Two boxes of non-perishables for snack (individually packaged; like fruit snacks)
  • 1 Large hand sanitizer
  • Cleaning wipes
  • Tissues

Fifth Grade

Teacher: Aaron Reddecliffe & Erica Cox

The following are individual items:

  • 1 student backpack – large enough to fit the binder, small enough to fit in the locker
  • 1 water bottle
  • 24 #2 Pencils sharpened
  • 5 large eraser
  • Hand held pencil sharpener
  • 2 black Sharpie markers

Each student should bring the following items to be shared:

  • 3 wide ruled composition books
  • 3 folders (no graphics/logos)
  • 100-500 sheets wide ruled loose-leaf paper
  • box tissues
  • 1 ruler
  • Wipes

Optional/Extra items:

  • Markers
  • Small scissors
  • 1 box colored pencils
  • Pencil pouch

Distinct Classroom

Room 4, Teacher Lauren

Room 105, Teacher Jennifer

  • Baby wipes; we prefer the non-scented Kirkland brand as we use these to wipe surfaces, hands and faces
  • Foaming hand soap (large refill bottles are also appreciated)
  • Alcohol Free hand sanitizer (Honest, Clean Well, Baby Organics) we have students who cannot use products with alcohol
  • 1 box each of: Gallon, Quart, Snack and Sandwich sized Ziploc bags
  • Boxes of tissues
  • Snack items:  crackers, graham crackers, cereal, string cheese, yogurt, fresh fruit or veggies, etc. 
  • Snack donations are appreciated throughout the year!
  • Glue sticks (purple glue)
  • Any plastic grocery bags you have at home (we use to send home soiled clothing)
