Principal’s Note

Hello Sacajawea families,

Congratulations to the Global Reading Challenge Team,  Loon Waves. They were Sacajawea’s champions and represented our school at the semi-finals at the Central Library in downtown Seattle on March 14. The Loon Waves faced some tough competition and did well. Most importantly they had fun and learned a lot.

I have heard form some of our school neighbors that there is concern about parking adjacent to the school. Please be sure to avoid blocking driveways or fore hydrants. In particular, please do not park too close to the corner of NE 96th Ave and 20th Ave NE as there is a fire hydrant and stop sign on the NE corner.

In partnership,

Barry Fisk
