A Note from the Principal

Hello Sacajawea Families,

We are excited to welcome two new staff members. Chelsey Sheppard is joining our Access team as an Instructional Assistant and Lisa Mueller will be here on Mondays and Thursdays to assist in providing Speech Language Pathology services.

We are also looking forward to bringing back our tradition of holding weekly staff and student assemblies. Our first assembly will be held Wednesday  February 1st. This will be an opportunity for us to nurture our school spirit with activities like singing and signing the school song, recognizing student achievements, and celebrating various monthly events. February 1st is also our next Spirit Day and the theme this time is Sports Day.

I would also like to share a couple of friendly reminders regarding school drop off and dismissal. Please do not drop off students on the upper playground before our morning supervision start time of 7:40. Please also note that car drop off and pick up should always take place by driving southbound on 20th NE to the front of the school.  After drop- off or pick up we ask that you continue southward and refrain from turning around on 20th as this creates a safety hazard for students, staff, and families.

In partnership,

Barry Fisk
