A Note from the Principal

Hello Sacajawea families,

I hope everyone had a wonderful and safe winter break. My family and I had a great time vacationing down in Mexico. We even managed to make it out of town before the great December freeze of 2022.

This week all of our staff and teachers are empowering our students to succeed by reviewing the SHINE (Safe, Helpful, Inclusive, Neighborly and Engaged) expectations for different school settings.

SHINE posters are posted in different areas throughout the school as well as in individual classrooms. Staff members went over the ways to SHINE in different locations including in the hallway, lunchroom, bathrooms, and on the playground.

A big shout out to Chrissy Jackson, Anne Singh, Holly Sassi, and Charlene Shanahan for all their help with this.

In partnership,

Barry Fisk (he/him)
