Nov. 22nd, 2024 (one day late, sorry!)

Key Items This Week

North Helpline Turkey Distribution. North Helpline’s Food Bank is providing one turkey per household for the holiday. Visit their Lake City location (12736 33rd Ave NE, Seattle, WA) on Nov. 20, 23, or 27 (9 a.m.–1:45 p.m.) or Nov. 21 (4–6:45 p.m.). The Bitter Lake location (13000 Linden Ave N) will also distribute on Nov. 23 (9 a.m.–1:45 p.m.).

Reminder: no school next week. Elementary students don’t have school next week to accommodate conferences and the Thanksgiving holiday.

Parent-teacher conferences next week. At Sacajawea, we regard conferences as an integral part of our partnership with you in your child’s education. If you haven’t heard from your child’s teacher about scheduling, please double-check your Talking Points/email, and contact your child’s teacher if you have any questions.

Community meeting with SPS is canceled. Superintendent Jones canceled the upcoming community meetings (originally scheduled for Nov 22nd at Sac) after this week’s school board meeting.

Dec. 4th is Sparkle and Shine Spirit Day. We can’t wait to see how your child glitters, sparkles, and shines! As usual, participation is optional.
