Sacajawea Elementary hosts Developmental Preschool for students with special needs. Families of typically developing children may apply for spaces as peer models in this setting. Preschool is 2.5 hours, Monday-Thursday.

  • Seattle Preschool Program (SPP): In collaboration with the City of Seattle, this program offers high-quality, affordable preschool for all 3- and 4-year-old children in Seattle.
  • Seattle Preschool Program Plus (SPP Plus) is a high-quality preschool program that also offers inclusive opportunities for students with and without disabilities.

Head Start Preschool Program

Head Start is a FREE, federally funded child development program for children and their families who are eligible. The Head Start programs in Seattle Public Schools serve 3-year and 4-year-old children, offering preschool curriculum, family services, and transportation.
