Advanced Learning Plans – Grade 3

The Advanced Learning Plans for third grade are as follows:

• Working in pairs or in small groups on advanced problem-solving
• Flexible groupings
• Centers and/or games
• Small group instruction
• Enrichment assignments
• Supplemental fourth grade materials (Singapore Math and the Level 4 EDM book used at home)
• Learning different number systems (enrichment packets to include Roman, Egyptian and Mayan Systems)
• Solving advanced story problems
• Working on curriculum aligned extensions
• ST Math and xtramath.org on the computer
